Please note that each delegate will be responsible to book accommodation directly with his/her selected hotel. You may choose a hotel on the recommended list, or another of your choice. At the time of booking, please advise the customer service officer that your reservation is for the Apostolic Church Conference and you will receive a special rate. You will also be responsible to claim a refund of the GST through your church or ministry account.
Travel
Your travel to and from Conference should also be arranged as early as possible, particularly for those who travel by air to Melbourne, as attractive fares are available from time to time for travel at Conference time.
Please note that airport transfers must be arranged by delegates; airport shuttles will NOT be available this year. Shuttles from hotels to 1330 will still be available. Please indicate if you would like to make use of this service. Cost will be $100 per person for the week.
Large groups may find it cost effective to hire a mini bus for your airport transfers and travel during the week. Other options you may like to consider include the following (approximate indicative costs shown):
Rental car approx $250 for the week
Rental van (8 seats) approx $480 for the week
Taxi approx $110 each way
Airport bus Eastside (http://www.airportbus.com.au/) approx $75 each way

Delegates on the Conference Contribution Scheme are eligible for $100.00 subsidy per night (up to four nights) to be paid to you for accommodation. Having made your booking, please advise Janette Coleman who will arrange for a subsidy to be reimbursed to you.
Please note that subsidies will be paid to Conference Contribution Scheme members after registration fees have been paid.

Unused scheme contributions –
It is strongly encouraged that all leaders attend National Conference. In circumstances where this is not possible, a delegate attending on your behalf may be eligible to claim the subsidies. If a ministry covered by the scheme attends without their spouse, you may apply to have the spouse’s subsidy transferred to another delegate. This should be discussed with Janette Coleman.
If no-one attends in your place, or if you do not wish your delegate to receive the subsidy, any unused contributions may be claimed after Conference and two-thirds will be refunded to your assembly.
Where only one partner of a ministry couple attends Conference, subsidies will be granted only for the attending delegate. No refunds apply to the partner who does not attend.
Childcare
Leaders who require, or may require, childcare services should complete the Childcare Registration Form and email it to Janette Coleman (admin@apostolic.org.au). It is important that your child is registered for childcare so that appropriate preparations can be made.
Even if you are attending evening sessions only, please note that if you require childcare your children must be registered.
Interns
The opportunity is available for interns to bless Conference delegates by serving during Conference week, fulfilling a range of responsibilities. Interns are asked to commit to sacrificing their time and effort to serve, and should understand that they may not always be able to hear speakers or participate as a delegate.
A registration form should be completed for each intern, indicating “Intern” in the appropriate check box and listing the College the intern is currently registered with. There are no registration fees for interns, and some subsidies may apply – please contact Janette (admin@apostolic.org.au) for more details.
It is important that contact details (email address and mobile phone number) be provided by interns so that they can be contacted before Conference with further information and instructions.
Cancellation
In the event of a cancellation, you may request a refund of registration fees. Refunds will be processed after the conclusion of conference. Other costs associated with cancellation remain the responsibility of the delegate.
